Description

The Recruiter is responsible for the development of recruitment strategies and implements all aspects of the recruitment process for the agency, ensuring excellence in hiring practices.  The Recruiter also assists the HR department with development, implementation, tracking, regulatory compliance, and evaluation of effectiveness for specific HR needs. The Recruiter is also a partner in the Career Pathways Program for recruitment of Interns in the field of Community Based Services.  The Recruiter supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of Stanford Youth Solutions + Sierra Forever Families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the social services or HR arena
• Exceptional personal engagement skills
• Ability to interface with all levels of agency and external customers in highly professional manner
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Creative thinker in designing advertising and recruitment campaigns that vary according to position and audience
• Willingness and ability to work flexible schedule (includes some evenings and weekends)
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to effectively lead and engage groups
• Familiarity with legal requirements in hiring practices
• Ability to become a certified instructor for HR trainings as assigned
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
• Verbal and written ability to communicate effectively with applicants, colleagues, community partners, consumers and all levels of management
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and assignments effectively
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment within department and agency wide
• Fulfillment of TB test, background check clearance, and any other mandatory State/Federal requirements
• Valid California driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and a driving record acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier
• Must provide and operate a registered, properly insured automobile

Salary

Hiring Range: $58,240 – $63,056 annually
