The Quality Improvement (QI) Manager provides daily oversight and implementation of quality improvement practices. This involves all aspects of management to ensure compliance with multiple systems and partners. The QI Manager directly supervises Quality Assurance Specialists, and understands the importance of effective practices to maintain agency standards. The QI Manager interacts with all programs and departments to foster agency integration, contributes to the development and implantation of program and agency outcomes, policies and procedures, trains staff to ensure agency and county compliance, and supports the Stanford Youth Solutions Mission, Vision, and Values. 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in Supervisory/Management experience
  • Strong supervisory experience-coaching, mentoring
  • Experience developing systems
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with personnel at all levels
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Professional demeanor
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communications skills
  • Works independently in a fast paced, high interruption environment
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively
  • Thorough analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to exercise professional judgment and assume responsibility for decisions
  • Demonstrate ability to lead/supervise teams
  • The ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment and learn new systems and processes
  • Adhere to all confidentiality requirements
  • Verbal and written ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, community partners, consumers and all levels of management
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and assignments effectively
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment within department and agency wide
  • Fulfillment of TB test, background check clearance, and any other mandatory State/Federal requirements
  • Valid California driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, can maintain a driving record acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier
  • Must provide and operate a registered, properly insured automobile 

Salary

Hiring Range: $50,000-$56,000  | Salary Range: $50,000-$70,000
