While many families are relaxing and taking in the rays of sun and fun this summer, countless other families and youth in our community are already worrying about how they are going to provide the many supplies and back to school clothes for the upcoming school year for their children. 

Stanford Youth Solutions is here to help.  

Our goal is to bring in at least 350 new backpacks stuffed with school supplies and gift cards for new clothes by August 9th. Any supplies or backpacks in excess of our goal will allow us to provide much needed supplies for many of the siblings of the youth we serve. 

You can contribute to our efforts by helping to remove barriers and open opportunities for the success of our youth. Please consider donating a stuffed backpack, school supplies, or a gift card to purchase new clothes for families in need. When kids have their basic needs met, they are able to focus on what matters most: learning, achieving and succeeding in school.

Donate ONLINE at our VIRTUAL BACK to SCHOOL STORE!

For your convenience, we set up a one-stop shop for back to school supplies. Simply fill your “backpack” with supplies and new clothes in our VIRTUAL BACK to SCHOOL STORE, or click on one of the fully stuffed backpacks for the grade level of your choice. We will do all the shopping and you will supply a youth with the tools they need to succeed! 

You can also call 916.344.0199 or email us to contribute. Backpacks, gift cards and school supplies can also be dropped off at our office, located at 8912 Volunteer Lane, Sacramento, CA 95826.

All 13 Northern CA Marshalls Stores, from Vallejo all the way to Oroville, will be supporting the drive as well, and you can purchase backpacks in participating stores where they have bins set up. You can also purchase Marshalls gift cards for our youth & families to purchase new back to school clothes, a necessity for every growing child.
