Help Create Memories for the Holidays

This holiday season, you can help create memories or start traditions for at-risk young people and their families by taking part in Stanford Home’s Holiday Drive.

The holidays are often a difficult time for families in need. Many cannot provide their children with the festive, joy-filled experience they want and deserve. You can help by hosting a gift card drive, where employees can “adopt” a family and provide them with the ability to create their own holiday memories.

Sign Up for a Holiday Drive

Stanford Home makes it easy by providing everything you need. We will provide signage for your office display and templates to promote your Holiday Drive. We will recognize your organization for its generous participation by listing you on the Holiday Drive section on our website.

You will be provided gift tags listing suggested items for each adopted family, such as:

  • Gift cards for gas or groceries ‐ Make the holidays brighter and tastier by allowing our families to travel or prepare holiday meals together.
  • Tickets ‐ Provide activities for families to participate in together ‐ movies, bowling, ice skating, miniature golfing.
  • Gift cards for families ‐ Department or electronic stores gift cards allow families to shop for their own presents to give to their children.

Our goal is to have all donations delivered to families with plenty of time before the holidays to help them with their own holiday plans.

Stanford Home staff will be happy to schedule a pick up for your organization’s donations between November 21 – December 9, 2011. Gifts and gift cards can also be dropped off at our office, located at 8912 Volunteer Host a Gift Drive
